Spaghetti Typeface

For this ongoing project, we were assigned to create an original typeface based on and inspired by an object of our liking. The object I chose is pasta, more specifically spaghetti. Taking into consideration the basic rules and guidelines of type and graphic design, I came up with this spaghetti typeface. Below are some examples of characters that I created.

For the second part of the project, we were assigned to put together a specimen for our typeface.

For the third and final part of the typeface project, we each had a month assigned to us and had to come up with a design for a poster showcasing our typeface to come together in a collective calendar.
