About Axelle Kurban

Hello! I’m Axelle Kurban, an Art, Media and Technology student at Parsons Paris, The New School.

Coming from a Middle Eastern background with a French environment has

made me have a rich upbringing, balancing occidental and oriental

values, tradition and innovation.

​

I am committed and motivated, passionate about creating meaningful work revolving around storytelling, especially through installations and experience design.

​

Through creating experiences, I appreciate exploring just about any subject, from growing up to falling in love or even going through a loss. In my work, I mainly tackle socio-cultural themes such as identity and heritage, but am very flexible when it comes to discussing different subjects.

 

I love having creative freedom but also work very well with assignments. I work by following my instincts, and gradually seeing where my projects take me.
